These Terms govern your use of this website and set out the basis on which Ramesh Sharma, trading as RS. (“we”, “us”), offers information and professional software services. By using rameshsharma.in (or any successor domain), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

2. Use of the website
You may browse the site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the site, probe systems without authorisation, scrape content in a way that harms performance, or misrepresent affiliation with RS. Portfolio materials, case studies, and screenshots may be illustrative; third-party trademarks belong to their owners.
3. Professional services
Inquiries through forms or email do not create a client relationship until we confirm acceptance in writing (including email). Scope, milestones, fees, IP, confidentiality, and warranties for actual work are defined in a separate agreement or written quote. If nothing else is signed, a written quote and your written approval (including email) form the contract for that piece of work.
4. Fees, taxes, and currency
Fees are quoted in Indian rupees (₹) unless otherwise stated. International clients may be quoted in USD or EUR where agreed. You are responsible for applicable taxes (such as GST in India) as shown on invoices. Late payment may suspend work or deliverables as set out in your agreement or invoice.
5. Intellectual property
Unless your written agreement says otherwise: (a) you receive licence or ownership rights to agreed deliverables after full payment; (b) pre-existing tools, libraries, and know-how remain ours; (c) you warrant you have rights to any materials you supply. Open-source and third-party components are used under their respective licences.
6. Confidentiality
We treat business information you share for a project as confidential and use it only to perform that work, subject to your separate NDA if we sign one. Nothing on this site overrides a signed confidentiality agreement.
7. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or that information is complete or up to date at all times. Links to external sites are for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party content or services.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the site or services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site (excluding paid engagements covered by a separate cap, if any) is limited to the greater of ₹5,000 or the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RS. / Ramesh Sharma against claims arising from your misuse of the site, your content, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
